Carlos Picón

Carlos Picón MSc. joined JIN in 2021, and he is involved in projects related to climate change mitigation and the use of renewable energies.

Carlos graduated from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid with a BSc. degree in Electrical Power Engineering, and started working in the industry shortly afterwards. After a year and a half, Carlos enrolled in the European Master in Renewable Energies in Hanzehogeschool Groningen. He graduated with his MSc. degree with a specialization in photovoltaics from Northumbria University and carried out his master research in the development of silicon-perovskite tandem solar cells at ISC-Konstanz.

At JIN, Carlos is involved in the H2020 projects LANDMARC, on the use of agroforestry for climate change mitigation, and WATERMINING, on the energy-efficient use of alternative water sources.
