William Powell, MSc. joined JIN Climate and Sustainability in 2023, bringing fresh perspectives to projects focused on low-emission transition pathways and socioeconomic analysis. With a background in spatial planning and a keen interest in systems transition theory, William contributes to scenario analysis and stakeholder engagement initiatives. His experience spans policy development, project management, and cross-sectoral innovation, having previously worked on sustainability policies at the University of Twente and contributed to the LEED for Cities certification program at the United States Green Building Council. William approaches his work with curiosity and passion, always eager to explore innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges. Outside of research, William enjoys making music, playing basketball, and writing comedy, bringing a creative and enthusiastic energy to the team.
