Krisztina Szendrei, Ph.D, joined JIN in 2013 and has been working on projects related to energy efficiency, renewable energy and climate change.
Her Ph.D within the Marie Curie Research Training Network was completed at the University of Groningen with a focus on developing efficient solar cells as a renewable energy source. After her PhD, she has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Groningen.
Since 2013, she has been involved in several EU-funded projects such as Apraise, BIOTEAM and TRANSrisk. She is currently working in the field of bioenergy (sustainable assessment of bioenergy pathways and market optimization within the BIOTEAM project) and climate change (considering possible trajectories towards a low-emission future, including assessment of technology options, costs and benefits, as well as risks and uncertainties within the TRANSrisk project).
